Thank you. The base for the red has varied over the years as GW shifts the exact tones of their colours. But currently it is Khorne red mixed with Abaddon black. I add a little black, mix it, look at it, add a little more, and so on until I like the results. In some versions of the colour I have added a tiny bit of some dark purple colour, like Naggaroth Night, but I honestly cannot remember if I did that with the latest batch. 

 

The colours vary slightly over the army, but since it is supposed to look worn and used it isn't really a problem. Different suits of armour have simply been exposed differently to sun, radiation, sandstorms, and so on...

Since the Blood Angels got their space vampire primarisized, so did my Flesh tearers.

 

 

I mostly painted it like my previous version of Chief librarian Alucard (counts as Mephiston), but with a few small changes.

These are so incredibly rad, I love all the conversions, the sawblades, the grey Death Company, the flayed skin, it's just so perfect. This is the archetypal Flesh Tearers force to me, it might as well be a GW studio army.

Sure. It's a bit hard to get good pictures because of the way the cape folds makes the lighting either glare or cast shadows, but this one is at least OK.

The saw-tooth blades are fantastic! I never thought the Bladeguard fit the FT's aesthetic but that simple change makes them totally work!
