Dragonlover
Personally, based on advice from some of the guys in the now defunct 'General Chat' thread, I'm using 5x1mm for Warlord and Reaver guns and 3x1.5mm for Warhound guns. I've not bothered doing waists and/or heads, perhaps someone that has can chime in? Also, I'm doing my first Reaver, and I should have considered putting the magnets at the elbow not the shoulder, although I suspect that makes doing the powerfist a bit janky now I think about it. Black Knight
I have seen a lot of different ways of doing the arms of Reivers. I simply just stuck a magnet in the Ball and socket but there is a lot of people out there doing two separate joins on the arms but I am not sure why. I haven't done anything pose wise as I like to make poses final and just allow the weapons to be changed. I also did 3 x 1.5 in the weapons of the Warhound and 2 x 1 in the arms. I tried 2 x 1 in both on my first hound and I was unhappy with the strength.
Mendi Warrior
My advice is to go for different sizes, it allows for a better aesthetic and some fine-tuning. I used: 5x1, 4x1, 3x2, 3x1, 2x1 and 1x1mm magnets for Warlords, Reavers, Warhounds, Acastus, Cerastus and Questoris models. For reavers, I eventually settled for 3x2mm magnets at the shoulder, 3x1mm magnets at both the upper (shoulder) and lower (elbow) parts of the arm, and 3x1mm for the weapon itself. For the chainfist and power fist, I used 3x1mm at the shoulder, 3x2mm at the elbow and 3x1mm at the fist. Drilling into the upper part of the arm is not straightforward as it is round, this can lead to weird positioning. Details are scattered across my project log but I tried to list all the posts where I discuss my magnets experiments hereafter: Questoris: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350487-mendi-warriors-adeptus-titanicus-project-log/?p=5175016 (I need to reupload the summary picture) Reaver: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350487-mendi-warriors-adeptus-titanicus-project-log/?p=5176043 Warhound: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350487-mendi-warriors-adeptus-titanicus-project-log/?p=5176089 Warlord - Reaver: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350487-mendi-warriors-adeptus-titanicus-project-log/?p=5185870 Warlord: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350487-mendi-warriors-adeptus-titanicus-project-log/?p=5189323 Warlord: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350487-mendi-warriors-adeptus-titanicus-project-log/?p=5189546 Cerastus: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350487-mendi-warriors-adeptus-titanicus-project-log/?p=5208027 Cerastus: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350487-mendi-warriors-adeptus-titanicus-project-log/?p=5208724 Warlord (Arioch Claw): http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350487-mendi-warriors-adeptus-titanicus-project-log/?p=5213233 Reaver: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350487-mendi-warriors-adeptus-titanicus-project-log/?p=5253061 Acastus: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350487-mendi-warriors-adeptus-titanicus-project-log/?p=5353718

Dragonlover I went ahead and magnetized my PF at the shoulder and the magnetized a laserblaster at the shoulder as its alternate weapon. It’s a decently flexible solution short of magnetizing every shoulder and wrist...
Mendi Warrior
Also, as I am a bit crazy and want to track where I put my various magnets, I have built a recap list in excel. Here is an example for the Acastus Porphyrion: first column is an exhaustive list of the locations where magnets are or could be used, second column contains the "best" magnet for the location (read the one I prefer) and then farther to the right one column per engine, where the green colour denotes "checked". And then of course I compute a sum and reconcile with my stock of magnets.
Marshal Wolfhart
For the Reaver's powerfist, i hacked up the upper arm bits, posed the thumb in the middle and thus have it swappable with one magnet. It turned out alright, once i get down to it, i'll add a pic if someone's interested. For the Reaver's ranged guns i just added the magnets on the hollow insides of the bits, the 5x1mm N52s are easily strong enough to hold that through a millimeter or two of plastic. the opposing magnet is on the end of the armjoint obviously. I also used 5x1s for everything from Warhound to Warlord, i didn't magnetize any bits for pose or headswaps or the likes, just guns.
Mandragola
This is how I magnetise reavers. It's a bit trickier but it means you can have the cables attached. I pin a little bit of sprue inside the rear of the hull with a magnet stuck to it and cut the hole that the wire goes into a bit larger, so the thing can go in and out more easily. A 2x1mm magnet goes in there, and another at the top of the ball joint. To be honest I should probably use bigger magnets in the ball joints. 2x1 isn't especially strong. But with two points of connection it holds pretty well. Here's another view of the bit of cut down sprue. I use a bit where the injection point is, so you get an L shape. This gives me a place to glue the magnet on that's set back the perfect distance when the cable goes into there. Not sure I'd really recommend this - it's a fair bit of work - but I'm happy with the results. For the top just a standard 5x1 magnet in the hole that's designed for it. Fajita Fan
I never bothered with my cables so I could swap guns left and right. That, sir, is dedication.
