Brother Dallo
It's a lovely paint job, but the base actually breaks the immersion for me. That's clearly a 21st century car beside a Titan. Dallo I'm okay with it but it would make a lot of sense to use a Russ or Rhino instead. There are tons of planets discovered during the Grand Crusade that had devolved culturally and technologically, some planets even fell to feudal systems or even lower. Totally plausible to have a planet where simple stamped out cars are made to what is a very simple design. In one of the Gray Knights books a Terminator squad teleports down to planet to find a demon worshiper and they stormed a castle while being shot by arrows through slits. They simply went through the wall. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/357474-titan-on-coolminiornot/#findComment-5185324 Share on other sites
Brother Dallo
Oddly enough, I'd have had no problem with medieval models being used. As you say, the Titan is clearly walking on a feudal world. However, I can't picture any world resembling 21st Century Earth in the 30k/40k universe in my own head canon. Different strokes for different folks. I suppose. It certainly is a well painted and modelled piece.
