3D Printing Old Titan Weapons

Worked on a new quake cannon, it'll be a week or two till I get a couple printed.  Has there ever been any official art of what a quake cannon is supposed to look like?  I just mimicked a modern artillery piece and modified a back end I found online that someone had made for an Imperial Knight gun. It doesn't look that good but I know the real, detailed pieces will be released right after I finish painting these.

The new megabolters I printed came out too small for a Warlord but look okay on a Reaver, I need to get the mounts magnetized ASAP so I can maybe prime them this weekend.  Maybe I should try printing pieces to make my Kaban machines like shoulder joints and such?

The quake cannon does have an official model, but not for the Warlord titan. It's on the Banesword too, though, so you can extrapolate from that.

Here's a link to the ludicrous fluff behind it, and with a picture: http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Quake_Cannon

Just a heads up: Kaban machine is singular. There is only one

So this is a cool breakdown of the old weapon arms. What's a harpoon missile? I want to model some of this stuff just for fun now.

You can also check the contents of the various catalogues on the Stuff of Legends website

The harpoon missile is from the first version of AT. If not mistaken, it is a one shot weapon that allows you to seize control of the enemy titan if the hit is successful (basically a nice hacking device), rolling in each subsequent orders phase to see if you gain control or not. And if you gain control, you completely control the enemy titan.

I decided to build my own back end to a quake cannon rather than use a file I found on Thingiverse. It's very, very simple for easy printing, I'll be able to try a couple next week since I can only submit one file a week.  The front and back halves will be printed separately along with the magazine, I'm not sure whether to glue the magazine to the top or bottom until I see it posed up to the body.

Wow, I'd have assumed a harpoon meant the titan can't back away from the shooting model but taking control of an enemy?  Neat!

The Harpoon missile and other old-school Warlord Titan weapons were described in UK WD 133 :

I didn't love the bottom feeding magazine so I did one underneath, it'll still be printed separately next week. That's enough tinkering for now, time get my table cleaned off so I can get some actual work done.  Two more Warhounds and 3 Warhound proxies coming up.

so, I might be getting a 3D printer for Christmas, my dad is thinking of buying me a Tevo Tornado, does anybody here with experience with 3D Printers have any tips, advice, or recommendations for 3D printers for the purpose of making conversion bits for GW models?
