Link2edition
Is there anything stopping your models from disembarking onto the 2nd floor(US) of a terrain piece? Some transports like drop-pods are very tall, and it would be easy to be within 3inches of the hull but still on the second level of a structure. casb1965
I could see no problem with troops disembarking from a flyer onto the upper floors of a building but you disembark from a drop pod from it's base so unless the drop pod can land on the building I'd say no. Morticon
Pod doesnt have a base so is measured from its hull. You're good to go. Interestingly, this move was responsible for my only loss at a local ITC tournament, where I didn't expect my opponent to deploy onto a higher set of crates. He measured from the top of his rhino, and was in range to deploy his havocs on the shooting pedestal. Really hurt me later.
