Sagittarum Guard (Custodes) - Conversions

I hate resin, so thought I’d try and convert a few of the new troop-type hotness. Used stormcast (who doesn’t) as a base and then custodian bits, with the ad mech providing rifles.

 

They need trimming and greenstuff, this is the initial concept stage!

 

Still trying to decide what to do with the third one. Same pose as gold boy (easy) or get creative and try to carve out a hand/stock from solid plastic...

Nice! That works far better than I would have thought if someone had described it to me. You've definitely done enough to make it clear that they're custodes.

 

Not completely sold on the champion though, the way he's holding up a sheathed misericodia... A pose like that of the Tau fireblade might be more appropriate, like he's holding up a symbol of their authority.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the “behold my fine scabbard” pose. I’m thinking about it... perhaps I should cut off and replace with a blade...
