Burni
The manoeuvre one seems the only one worth the points, to my simple brain. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/358365-aircraft-and-aces-cards/#findComment-5386288 Share on other sites
Dosjetka
Quick question for the folks here: do the Aircraft and Aces cards contain any additional "special" aircraft and pilots than the four aircraft and four pilots already in the Rynn's World campaign book? No, just the ones from the book. On the subject of cards; you don’t get enough in the Orks to field 9 DakkaJets (i.e. the starter plus one box). How annoying... Dosjetka
Alright, thanks. :tu: Regarding the DakkaJet cards, that is a bit of a nuisance. :( Though I imagine you meant 6 DakkaJets and not 9 as I don't see any boxes with that many DakkaJets! Burni
You get 3 with the starter and then 6 in a normal box. So it’s reasonable to expect the average Ork player to have 9 imho. Dosjetka
Ah, right. Didn't look at the box properly. It's not unreasonable to assume that an Ork player might have 9 DakkaJets. Bit of a fail on GW's part. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/358365-aircraft-and-aces-cards/#findComment-5386746 Share on other sites
klisof
GW has assumed you are fielding 1 dakka jet as the ace version. If you field the aces the contents are starter kit + 1 box of each type of planes for Orks Full contents 8 dakka jets Vulture - ace dakka jet (9th dakka jet) 5 fighter bombers Big burner - ace fighter bomber (6th fighter bomber) 2 eavy bombers 2 grot bombers 4 grot bomb cards 10 each of big bomb, wing bomb and rokkit cards 3 flak platform and 3 eavy flak kannon cards (so not matching the ground assets box) 6 each of the wazmek special, kustom big shooters, extra armour and belching smoke cards 2 fly boss cards 6 ace ability cards Toofkraker and da black barun ace cards Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/358365-aircraft-and-aces-cards/#findComment-5386864 Share on other sites
klisof
I was looking through some old books looking for inspiration for a colour scheme for my aircraft, and noticed that one of the imperial aces (Dagor-Jarni) dates back to at least Imperial Armour volume 1! He's one of the planes on a double page spread of example paint scheme.
