Twin Phobos Rune Priests

Hi, I don't see this has been discussed, my apologies if I missed the topic.

Has anyone played with 2 phobos rune priests, 1 with tenebrous curse and the other with jaws? Seems like a deadly combo

I'm planning on fielding this combo soon, making one my warlord and giving him princepts of deceit. I can deploy them aggressively and if I don't get first turn, redeploy defensively.

Also planning ontemporal corridor and storm caller for other powers to allow for more mobility and defenses.

Thoughts?

It is a good combo but may not be worth the investment. You're maybe getting an extra 2-3 mortal wounds. Adding smite to the mix does make it deadlier.

That warlord trait does make it less dangerous to field this. But using the warlord trait makes your investment into this tactic higher.

I suppose it all comes down to the meta and the other parts of your list. Let us know how it goes.

It smells slightly gimmicky to me. I think it could be really fun when it works but when it doesnt go your way i think youre dead in the water. I can't lose my Smite, Living Lightning combo either, it just gets too good to pass up late game.

Go all in and use 3 RPs

Living lightning stratagem for d6 mortal and this trio can chew through most anything

Also toss saga of hunter on phobos RP who has jaws. make his other power fury of the wolf spirits

now you have a heat seeking missile with a bucket load of attacks

*temporal corridor him if fury of wolf is successful

You could do, temporal corridor on one, and jaws on another.

User corridor to slingshot the jaws priest into position.

Which to me seems better

All ready an option, since they can cast 2 each. Tenebrous a unit, cast corridor on other rune priest, then jaws and smite/lightning. Also flexibility on corridor to use to get into position or back behind cover, etc. *Forgot it is a 3" range, so never mind that.*
