Elzender
Greetings fraters! I have a squad of plastic tartaros to build for my Imperial Fists, and while I like their aesthetics as is, I was wondering how would they look with leather straps/pteruges in their shoulder pads, to break a bit their round shape. Does anybody know of any 3rd party seller that might offer such bits, or has anyone made a similar conversion/kitbash? I'd prefer not just giving them cataphractii arms as I'd like to keep them recognizable as tartaros. PeteySödes
I dont know of any BUT i'd encourage you to flex those sculpting muscles and make some! It'd be a relatively simple project! If i were to approach it, i'd make thin GS strips and let them cure for about an hour then place them so they are flexible but not overly sticky. I did a slightly similar thing with my Tartaros but wolfy to match the Cataphractii Varagyr. I laid down the base leather first in a similar way i described before the fur so it can totally work! Elzender
That's looking fantastic, PeteySödes! I am considering that option as well, it's just that most of my miniatures end up needing quite a bit of greenstuff work but I usually get lazy about it, so I am trying to minimize having to sculpt stuff to avoid them piling up incomplete .
