My first Marauder is still on the assembly line but it would be nice to see the efforts of more productive squadron leaders

I feel like such a bum, I've done almost no hobbying the last couple of weeks outside of a couple of GSC models...  When using contrast paints I think it's useful to use a pen to mark out borders for colors because of how they paints layer.

I'm painting a lizard with my avatar sitting on it from another galaxy far far away (not board relevant) butttttt...when thats done i'm going to try finishing off my other Fighta Bomba

Very pleased to be posting here! Would like to come back and do lenses and navigation lights and try out a bit of advanced weathering, but got to finish the rest of the squadron first!

Alpha flight, composed of elements of 666th Attack Wing including 'Blackheart' and 'Sol' fighter squadrons.

Call sign Blackheart one. Aircraft nicknamed 'Huntress'. Related nose art has deteriorated due to atmospheric conditions.

Call sign Sol nine. Ace marked aircraft officially named 'Justus Extremis'.

Call sign Blackheart two. Aircraft displays tallies of successful bombing missions.

Now just 6 more to finish :D

They are from the Imperial Guard tank transfer sheet*. That has a design with an axe and twin lightning bolts as well as a lightning fist design. I considered the scars transfers but all the bolts go in the same direction
