WarriorFish
I've played against Tyranids a few times in KT, they have a lot of versatility. I can't give you details of course, but generally speaking you can put a good number of models on the table which gives you options. They move fast too so you can close in quickly which is good as combat is your main focus. Stealers are very good but be aware that they will be high targets so you'll need a few of them, try to make use of cover as much as possible ideally hiding completely as they advance as your opponent won't be able to ignore them. Are you set on only using stealers? For a pure stealer force I've not encountered one yet, but I imagine they will function much the same as other more elite KTs; lots of potential but some bad luck can change things quickly if you lose a couple of models quickly! Interrogator Stobz
I play against Nids a lot, they are fast and deadly but need a variety of dudes to peak. Add a couple of termagaunts for objective holding and if you play Elites a Hive Guard is a good shooter threat too. Nid Warriors are an ok and versatile choice, just don't waste them by waiting back and shooting, keep them moving into CC in support of the stealers. Kilofix
Most of the lists I’ve played against in Tourney have had a single Warrior, a single Lictor, 1 to 2 Genestealers and then a ton of Hormagaunts. Brother Navaer Solaq
i have played mostly genestealer kill team with a single lictor. The team used is mostly for fun and casual games. My advice is to get a warrior kit so you can create two CC warriors & one shooting warrior. The warriors give you access to better CC weapons with the genestealers. the kit also has a Tyranid Prime parts that can you can use as a kill team commander. Dosjetka
I'm curious as to why people recommend Hormagaunts over Termagants? All those extra bio-guns could put a dent in (almost) anything, no? Son of Sacrifice
Well I did my first game running only genestealers. Got absolutely destroyed. They really miss being able to advance and charge. I've got 3 warriors to build, and it looks like Hormagaunts will be in my immediate future.
