Ubiquitous1984
I really hated that when I listened to it a few years back, but I’ve just sunk £2 to give it another try. aa.logan
Today is the UK Audible Science Fiction Member’s sale, or some such. Until midnight, the following are £3 a pop- Xenos Ravenor Helsreach Fallen Angels Watchers of the Throne The Great Work The Talon of Horus Plague War A Thousand Sons Nemesis Ravenor Rogue On Amazon, Joel Golby’s essay collection ‘Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant’ is almost as good as the title suggests and is *vaguely* GW adjacent; he reflects a fair bit on his childhood/youth and mentions a Warhammer obsession, and is only 99p today and worth a read. Very good on grief, but that’s going waaay OT, I know. aa.logan
Titanicus and the 2nd Cain ebook omnibus are both £1.99 on Amazon UK; not marked as time limited so I’ve no idea how long they’ve been at this price for/how long they will stay at this price. ALSO, in big news for me, a reader who prefers Kobo ereaders, BL are now putting books on this platform too. Not all, yet, but cheap now are the first 10 HH books, at £1.99 each as well as Farrer’s Crossfire and Swallow’s Deus Encarmine at £3.49 a pop Edited February 19, 2020 by aa.logan Ubiquitous1984 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/358553-amazon-and-audible-special-offers/page/2/#findComment-5479186 Share on other sites

Rob P
A bunch of kindle books are on 1.99 on amazon.co.uk (a lot have been done before) including: Dark imperium Plague war Ciaphas Cain - Saviour of the Imperium Omnibus G&F Omnibus 1 Slaves to Darkness Incarnation False Gods Edit: Ciaphas Cain is a bit of an acquired taste, but does anyone else find it frustrating on a kindle because of the way footnotes behave on kindle? Edit 2: A City of Lifestone for 99p for today only - yes, like G&F it's not 40k Edited March 15, 2020 by Rob P aa.logan 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/358553-amazon-and-audible-special-offers/page/2/#findComment-5491397 Share on other sites

aa.logan
I thought the shift to weekly self-sold special offers via their own app might spell the end of the monthly special offers on Amazon, but no. They seem to have returned to September’s offerings though. The Solar War The Black Legion The Devastation of Baal Heralds of the Siege All for £1.99 each, presumably until the end of April Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/358553-amazon-and-audible-special-offers/page/2/#findComment-5500478 Share on other sites

Kelborn
Could slap my face for not sharing this earlier (apologies my brothers and sisters) but BL is currently offering one audiobook per week for 0.99p via their app. Those were already released in the last weeks: - The Beast Arises: I am Slaughter - Soul Wars - Crusade and other stories - Dante (being this weeks release) So we're talking about 40+ hours of audiobooks for less than 10 €. Forgot how long this will be running but it's too much of a deal to miss it! Kelborn
Adding Josh Reynolds Apocalypse via the BL app for 1.09€ Though I'm happy about each of those, I was hoping for some more diversity. 5 releases, 1 x AoS, 4 x 40K with three of them covering Dark Imperium era Hope we'll get some more of other eras and/ or AoS stuff until it ends. aa.logan
Uk Audible has Ghoulslayer for £1.99 today- it seems that we’ll continue to get periodic audiobook savings in addition to those offered on the BL app. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/358553-amazon-and-audible-special-offers/page/2/#findComment-5513337 Share on other sites
aa.logan
May already? Amazon UK has, presumably for the month: Belisaurius Cawl: The Great Work £1.99 Titanicaus £1.99 As are, without being mentioned as time limited- False Gods, Horus Rising, the Lost and the Damned, the Saint Omnibus, The Lost Omnibus, Galaxy in Flames, The Magos, Anarch, The Carrion Throne, Night Lords Omnibus, Gotrek and Felix Omnibus 1,Fulgrim, Cadia Stands, and the Flight of the Eisenstien, Which is an*awful* lot of books, and a strangely cheap way to get titles featured in most everyone’s top 10 BL books from the other thread...
