Strike from the shadow strat and first turn

Hi everyone,

Was wondering if the stratagem "Strike from the shadows" that says "unit select is set in ambush and at the end of one of your movement phase you can set that unit anywhere....".

Can we use this stratagem to deploy a unit in infiltration in the first turn?

I know that there the rule about reserve and deep strike on turn one forbidden. but because there is also some exceptions for greyknight and ork jump attack and GSC ambushes I was wondering if this stratagem fall into any of them.

Turn 2 onwards as per the reserve rules for this one I'm afraid. Gate of infinity and da jump are exempt because they are psychic powers that are immediate not "at the end of one of your movement phases". Gsc also have specifically worded abilities that ignore this restriction.

SftS is still really good even though you cannot have stuff come in on turn 1.  You can keep potent assets safe from turn 1 firepower.

All this stuff really likes SftS.
