Carry case

Miniature transport tends to come in one of two variants: foam or magnets.

The commonly used manufacturers are (in no partiular order):

You best bet would be finding a gamestore or convention where you can look at the products in person.

A cheap alternative could be using bacon trays + putting magnets under the bases.

People have also been using various forms of large plastic containers e.g. from ikea, padding them with soft material on the inside (or using foam inlays from one of the manufacturers above).

If you would give us a list of models we could make more specific recommendations e.g. regarding the size of a transport solution.

For infantry on plastic bases I've switched to stackable plastic boxes from Walmart, I plan to glue in some sheet metal and tiny 5mm magnets to the bases of models for easy transport.  It's so much easier and cheaper than the overpriced plastic GW cases, that's for sure.

This really is the best way to move armies like GSC or marines IMO, my Night Goblins still sit jammed in a 10 year old shoebox. :ermm:
