Phobos Bolter Magazine pouches

Ok, so a question about the now OOP bolter Pouches

I recently got into an argument with myself in the hobby room, about the orientation they're supposed to be attached with

see, the Tigrus Pattern set are fairly self explanatory, they're standard old school magazine pouches for belt or chest, that have a flip top, at the well... top

yet the Phobos bolt pistol set on closer inspection seem to be more related to quick-release magpull style/type magazine pouches where the magazine just sits in a small not 100% holder and the buckle-y thing should be at the bottom

I only noticed this after 7 years of airsoft....

Am I correct, am I mad, perhaps a bit of both, help me 'orus 'eresy, you're my only hope

Which way "up "should the Phobos pouches be? (I say buckle at the bottom)

I really wanted to paint a new tac squad today, but now, I'm just staring at the pouches going "they should be buckle at the bottom, but what if I'm wrong..."

I wish I was more switched on when I was assembling my Mk III vets, I couldn't figure out how to do it at the time. I just got the holster on with the chainsword at the back instead of the spare magazines.  After seeing Grotsmasha's pic, feel even more like a complete donkey.
