varchilde
Greetings Frater! It's been so long since I've posted in the Grey Knights forum it seems my plog thread has vanished into the warp! I've just completed painting Crowe (bar the basing) and thought I'd share a pic! I've had this model for ages, and was taken aback how poor the quality of the finecast was. I think the paint job has helped lift it up a bit. Cheers, varchilde duz_, Kolgrim DeathHowl, WAR and 5 others 8 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359157-castellan-crowe/ Share on other sites

duz_
Looks great! Although I've got rid of my GK army because my IG can now stand on their own this edition I have kept a few characters Crowe being one of them. Some day I will paint him up maybe sooner rather than later with the new GK silver which is great. I also really like the book series he has, I wish his rules reflected his novels more! Wonder what the third has installed for him? What's next var? Wonder what the third has installed for him? What's next var? Thanks! I've lent my Grey Knights army to a friend who is doing really well with it at our local club. When I get them back I've got a metal Draigo to finish up. I have to confess my current hobby efforts are firmly focused on my Carcharodons (whose progress is captured over in the Raven Guard forum); I've got a doubles comp next February and want to get a bunch of units painted for that event. Irbis
Is he on 25 mm base? If so, I'd put him on 33 mm one, like current model, if only to make him future-proof (and really, because bigger bases look better IMO). I'll consider re-basing him the next time I make a big push on my Grey Knights, but currently other projects are further up the painting queue. Justicar Boreq
I built my own Castellan Crowe lately with cool rocky base and honestly he's the coolest looking model from my army. He beats Draigo and Voldus IMO Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359157-castellan-crowe/#findComment-5453185 Share on other sites
