Spitballing vehicle facings into 8th

In Epic: Armageddon, vehicle facing was as abstract as in 8th. To add some manoeuvre-based strategy, they had a Crossfire rule. Essentially, if you could draw a line between two friendly models that went over an enemy model, the enemy model suffered -1 to its armour.

 

Perhaps something like that could work in 8th? It’s simple, swift, and relies not a lot on determining facings on physical models.
