AgramarTheLunarWolf
I'm looking for any tutorial about making crests for space marine helmets (Ancient roman and ancient greek style) with green stuff. Any idea? All suggestions are welcomed ^^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359273-how-to-make-a-crest-helmet/ Share on other sites

TheBlindPrimarch
Easiest way, imo, is to roll a long green-stuff sausage to about the thickness you want, then cut it into individual pieces the length you want. Mount to the head, sculpt into shape, and then use either a toothpick, or the tip of an exact-o-knife if you want smaller lines, to texture the hairs onto your crest. I did this on a number of my models, and I think it looked pretty good overall. Aothaine
this might help you since the crest is in green stuff, not my model I saw it on pinterest. Jebus... I hope who ever made that did a good job painting it as well. That model looks amazing! This might work for you: https://anvilindustry.co.uk/Exo-Lords/Heads-helmets-crests Otherwise greenstuff is going to be your go to. Just find a good picture of the crest you want and sculpt away!
