TorvaldTheMild
Was thinking it would be cool if you get a cover save if you are partially covered by one of your units that had a ++save. Lots of times in the lore terminators stay on the vanguard and use their forcefield to protect those behind them. And its not exactly going to break the game as shooting is so strong. I think it would add a cool tactical element to the game. Plus it would be that much of a balanced issue as every army gets ++ saves. I might favour custodes etc. but they wouldn't really benefit that much from it as they are so few models, they can't really castle up or form a gunline as that's not really how you play them or you could just implement a rule that characters with ++ don't get the extra cover. What do you think? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359395-cover-save-from-forcefields/ Share on other sites
Lord_Caerolion
Surely if you get a cover save for that, you should just get a cover save for any other models in between? Why are my bullets only able to potentially impact Terminators or guys with storm shields, but the Tactical Marines just have the bullets magically pass through? TorvaldTheMild
Well you can aim in between models, whereas a forcefield is all encompassing. I don't know just thought it would be a cool dynamic.
