I’m thinking I’ll make a Primaris Captain w/ power sword and mastercrafter bolt rifle, with the relic being the eye of hypno. Only thing I haven’t decided on is what warlord trait to use. Logiter Posted October 27, 2019 Share Posted October 27, 2019 I run mine with jump pack, storm shield and teeth of terra. 105 points is cheap enough. Think I’ll put the new WLTs for half damage received and can’t be wounded on 1-3. A gravis captain also gives you a respectable counter-punch unit. I’ll be using Pedro I think, if anyone. I’ve sometimes used the strat on my Primaris captain in the past but it doesn’t feel quite right, and Pedro’s actually good now. I use the siege breaker cohort indomitable warlord trait and the eye of hypnoth relic. He runs around with my centurions and aggressors. CausticCossack Posted November 1, 2019 Share Posted November 1, 2019 I'll be very sad if we lose the siege breaker indomitable trait because the new supplement one has the same name, I find the old one much more interesting and fluffy (IF shouldn't have to worry about morale, the idea of one running away for any reason other than to grab more bolt shells is utterly ridiculous). For the relic I'm actually looking at the vox espiritum from the main codex on a primaris captain with stalker bolt rifle, I think that extra 3" makes a real difference for being able to expand out the gunline and re-rolling all hits. Particularly if using the old siege breaker trait, since he can't move at all to maintain the benefits.
