What to do with extra dice?

Just regular dice or do they have symbols on certain faces? I made some neat terrain using the Betrayal at Calth dice as storage containers with the skulls facing outwards. You can hide pips with sandbags or misc bits like lasguns or power packs.

I was going to use the small dice you get with all the box sets on my Harlequin Shadowseer by arranging them in an arc around him like they're floating as he casts spells. They were going to be painted like glowing balls of magic energy and the rest of my Harlequins were going to have a casino scheme with card suits.

...then I realized I don't have the skill or patience to paint a Harlequin troupe.

A few years ago a friend of mine was buying cheap clocks from the dollar store.  Took the clock apart and put different 40k pics in from old codexes, codices (whatever their called).  He would use the large pics usually full page so they would cover the whole clock  face and then glue his extra dice he didn't want or need onto it for the hour numbers.  Turned out looking pretty cool.

Another thing I've seen my friends do is use a dreadnaught size base and a miniature thats got a pointing finger or a large gun and make a turn counter with the dice glued around half of the base and the mini or gun attached by magnets so it can turn to the die number of what turn the game is in.

If nothing else shooting 22 rifles are always fun at small targets 25 yds away:biggrin.:
