Wulf Vengis
So, I'm going to bite the proverbial bullet here and buy some testors gloss black (model master custom spray enamel). It's in stock for delivery and i can expect it to arrive before some time late June. This will allow me to begin priming the test models. Wulf Vengis
What would be a good glue for the trifecta of plastic/resin/pewter? I've always used kra-z-glu and loctite, the squeezey tubes, the foil rollup tubes and the plastic side button squeezer thing. I don't particularly care for any of these options however and am curious as to what other options some of you may use. But i had an unknown brush-on glue once, ONCE, it was unlabeled and it was glorious. Wish i knew what it was. lhg033
I generally always use loctite control gel for things plastic glue doesnt work on - mainly magents but ocasionally resin/metal/fingers.... I like the fact it is easy to control (very very rarely glue get too much glue out etc) and seems pretty solid. Loctite do do a brush on glue as well, brush is part of the cap - i used this before i switched to the gel version Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359598-brushes-and-other-returning-questions/page/2/#findComment-5534445 Share on other sites

It is less brittle and much stronger than superglue (cyanoacrylate). Unless you build lot of large Forgeworld vehicle kits, this one will last you a lifetime used sparingly: https://www.amazon.com/Pacer-Technology-Zap-Z-Poxy-Minute/dp/B00SXJJ36W/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=zap+5+min+epoxy&qid=1591183557&sr=8-1 I'd also suggest to pin the faces to be glued for additional strength, especially long protruding parts with small contact area, for this I find 1 mm brass rod with 1 mm drill work best, brass rod is soft enough to not damage fine cutting pliers but strong enough to withstand mechanical stress.
