jaxom
Do you think two or three of the new riot shield subjugators on a 60 mm base would be an okay way to represent ogryns? WarriorFish
I don't think it's work very well - Ogryns are very large with rules to match, it'd be hard to represent that easily with humans They'd make for nice Crusader alternatives though if you're keen to get use from the models? duz_
Using them for Crusaders is a great idea Yeh might be tough as ogryns / bullgryns unless you're in a fairly lenient gaming group Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359727-subjugators-and-ogryns/#findComment-5421702 Share on other sites
jaxom
Thank you all for the feedback! Now I'm thinking about Subjugator Crusaders backed up by Ambot Ogryns. WarriorFish
I'm not sure how big the Ambot is, but it certainly has the right look! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359727-subjugators-and-ogryns/#findComment-5422047 Share on other sites
Ldorte
I'm not sure how big the Ambot is, but it certainly has the right look! Looks like they are fairly similar in size, with the Ambot just being a bit bulkier. WarriorFish
A bit bulkier yes, but close enough factoring in the shield I think they'd work nicely :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359727-subjugators-and-ogryns/#findComment-5422063 Share on other sites
jaxom
Thank you for the comprehensive size comparison! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359727-subjugators-and-ogryns/#findComment-5422132 Share on other sites
Kevlarshark
I did a similar conversion where I used a breacher team to represent regular rippergun ogryn... a little while ago... No one seems too troubled by it. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359727-subjugators-and-ogryns/#findComment-5422144 Share on other sites

Expendable_Aquanaut
Kevlarshark that is an awesome conversion. Love that concept. Any chance you've got more painted up? Kevlarshark
Cheers The_Son_of_Dorn and Expendable_Aquanaut... I have 5 or six built- I guess I will have to move them up the painting queue to show them off.
