jgascoine011
So i had an unusual situation in this game. I had my plague marines outside a rhino I moved them up to all be within 3" of the rhino, embarked them and then moved the rhino up the field...ok so far nothing too unusual. But here is where its a bit confussing. The rhino was equipped with a combi-plasma. I was about 3" away from his characters and he had a venom about 12" away. Soo, I overcharged the plasma and fired both the combi-bolter....for -2 to hit. Rolled a 6 and a 3 with the plasma...oh no i lost a rhino. Guys get out, shoot and then charge. Is this legal? My opponent actually encouraged me to do it as i was saying that it seemed a bit gamey but couldnt see any rules to stop it. I know if your rhino dies on overwatch you cant charge...but what about when you blow up your own rhino with an overcharged plasma.
Kythnos
Not sure on the second part, since I never had a similat situation. But I was wondering about the -2 to hit. Your combiplasma should have been at -1. Or did your opponent have further modifiers at work?

DemetriiTZ
This was recently FAQ'd, I believe
McElMcNinja
They FAQ'd in 'Units cannot declare a charge during the same turn that they disembarked from a destroyed transport.’ So I would say you could still shoot, but not charge.

jgascoine011
Also, I am pretty sure you can put a jump pack lord in a rhino as our rhino is the only one which doesnt state you cant put jump pack dudes inside. This is probably due to a chaos lord with jump pack being a index option, and the only way to get any jump pack guys in a deathguard list.
