Simo429
I am really struggling to get a good fit specifically with part A11, 12 and 10 and subsequently because of thie A13 and 14 are not fitting. I realise that it doesn't massivley matter because the carapace is going on BUT I want to get it right. Any suggestions for resources to better see what I am doing wrong? Dragonlover
Can you show us some pictures of yours? Personally I don't think I had any real problems with those bits, my only real advice is don't rush the sides. Glue one on, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then do the other one. Also at the risk of sounding incredibly patronising you've trimmed all the sprue tags off right? I've had plenty of times where I'm swearing at a kit and then realise I've missed a bit... Dragonlover Hoping that's worked, they just don't seem to have gone together well. I haven't got any bits of sprue left on though at least. Mendi Warrior
The answer is on the second picture: you glued the sides outside instead of inside of the floor panel. Mendi Warrior
A12 and A11 go inside of A10. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359793-struggling-with-the-warhound-chassis/#findComment-5423162 Share on other sites

Mendi Warrior
Step 5 in the instructions booklet could have been better made, it is a bit misleading. Always dry fit before gluing, especially with AT stuff (Reavers in particular), even 2 or 3 dry fits before gluing. Worst case, dedicate this warhound to Nurgle and use greenstuff to mask the mistake. Fajita Fan
Yep, dry fit everything. The tolerances are really tight. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359793-struggling-with-the-warhound-chassis/#findComment-5423228 Share on other sites

I was missing part of the sprue so GW sent me a box for as a replacement so I'll use this as a test model but thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/359793-struggling-with-the-warhound-chassis/#findComment-5423300 Share on other sites
