Here is an introduction page into darkness in the blood. By Guy Hayley.

So everyone clamoring for death company primaris here you go. I disagree with *needing* them but I'm just a hobbyist.

"WITH A NEW GAMING SUPPLEMENT IN THE WORKS" that is intriguing.

99% he's talking about PA3 and the "A new model led..." part is about Mephiston. ;)

Interesting, very interesting. Not sure if I needed DC primaris since JP are just so superior over walking or riding an impulsor, but interesting nonetheless. Let’s see what they make of it.

We don't know anything about DC Primaris except that they exist in the fluff. It doesn't mean that we get something to turn Intercessors or such into DC and even if we'd get something like that it could just as well work on Inceptors. More likely though is that we'll at some point in the future get a proper DC Primaris unit.

We'll get DC Primaris after GW releases a Primaris assault squad with jump packs that they can re-use the CAD designs for.

Or, preferably (!?), we get a DC upgrade sprue with 5x heads, 5x left and 5x right shoulder pads, bits and stuff that we can use to upgrade existing intercessor and the Primaris assault boxes.

That's what I would do if I was GW. Don't overbling the new dudes. Doesn't require the investment that a BA unique box does.

I bet there will be primaris death company in PA3, and they will be standard intercessor models painted in Death Company colours.

I mean, that's what Death Compny started out as before they got specific models, right? Metal Blood Angels Marines painted black.

Even then original 1st edition DC had custom metal models with things like extra skulls and scrolls moulded on.

I'm honestly really happy that Haley can talk so open about things now. It feels like he's going to take a huge step forward for post-Great Rift/Primaris Blood Angels with Darkness in the Blood. It'll probably set the new status quo which we will have to work with for the foreseeable future.

Indeedy, while there was a specific Death Company box featuring these guys, they were also sold in blisters as "Blood Angels Marines", as I recall.
