If Black Templars get access to the Imperial Fist stratagems, warlord traits and special issue wargear as a Imperial fist successor they can be reasonably competitive. My big fear is that Games Workshop will say in the FAQ that the Black Templar list is a stand alone supplement.

My current list is a mechanises all primaris list, where the focus is on shooting and taking objectives. It has some good counter assault potential and can lay a lot of pressure on un-prepared opponents.

I think there are two ways - both will be easy for GW. One way is to forget about this and we still have access to both. The other way is that they say take this OR that. The best way would be access to the Stratagems and their relics.

I don't think it will be a choice or both, the doctrine will be knights of Sigismund. What i mean is that GW might look at the faith and fury list as a free standing supplement to codex space marines instead of something like crimson fists.

I hope that they can be used, not because I want to use them, but because it means that GW actually cares a smidgen about the army instead of just treating us as a footnote or the unwanted child.

What I mean, is that if the combo with IF was meant to happen, it means that there's a REASON we are in such a small spot in comparison to the other big chapters.

I have a nice new combo... Company Champion with our new Relic and "Champions of humanity" is a brutal Knight Killer.

If you get into Close combat ( charge from a LRC with Stratagem or threw a BLOS wall to be save from Overwatch) he kill a Knight in one phase.

6 attacks on 2 with reroll _ 5,83 hits_ 4,735 wounds_3,6458saves_10,9375 damage without Assault doctrine 13,125 in assault doctrine

If he dies and take "only in death..." you can double it... what is a dead knight in one round.
