Verbal Underbelly
Hi, I was just wondering about the wording on some of the new Heretic Astartes rules shown in today's Warhammer Community article. A number of the items say 'when resolving an attack...' Does that mean one attack the model might have or any attack? For example The Raiment Revulsive. Marshal Loss
When resolving an attack by this model essentially just means when attacking with this model. The RR therefore allows you to re-roll all hit and wound rolls, whether at range or in melee. Verbal Underbelly
Okay great. I found the language they used was a bit inexact and open to interpretation.
Machine God
Okay great. I found the language they used was a bit inexact and open to interpretation. Exactly, although that is GW all over. Cheex
The rules are written with the assumption that you are rolling every attack individually. "Fast rolling" is an option. So, "when resolving an attack" wording just means that it applies to every attack that you make.
Closet Skeleton
Okay great. I found the language they used was a bit inexact and open to interpretation. Exactly, although that is GW all over. Its more that its very precise jargon which is obtuse and unintuitive so it might as well be inexact and careless.
