Vorenus
I've copied the text of the Gorefather relic below. How does this relic work? What does "the attack sequence ends" mean? Let's say you attack and get 4 hits. Do you have to roll each wound roll one at a time and stop when you get a natural 6? Or do you still roll all at once so you might get multiple natural 6s? GOREFATHER This immense chainaxe is said to have once been wielded by Angron himself. Though it was ultimately cast aside, this relic is of such immense importance to the Legion that wars have been fought between rival warbands seeking to claim it for themselves. One strong enough to wield Gorefather can scythe his enemies into scattering explosions of blood and ruined flesh. Model with chainaxe only. This Relic replaces a chainaxe and has the following profile: WEAPON Gorefather RANGE Melee TYPE Melee S +2 AP -2 Dmg 3 Abilities: When resolving an attack made with this weapon, subtract 1 from the hit roll, and on an unmodified wound roll of 6 the target suffers 3 mortal wounds and the attack sequence ends. MasterDeath
An attack sequence is the sequence of rolling to hit, to wound, save and damage for a single attack. Strictly by the rules each attack is a single sequence (but normally you fast roll). So a 6 to wound does end one attacks sequence, not all attacks. BluejayJunior
It means you don't continue on and roll saves against wounds of a 6. They do 3 MW and that's it. The opponent then doesn't roll to save against the 6 to see if it does any additional damage.
