Space Marine List for Squats

Hi all, 

 

I was considering using the Space Marine Codex rules for a Squat army in 40k, but had a quick question.

 

I was considering lowering the Move score to 5", and was wondering how many points per model the reduction from 6" to 5" might be worth?

 

Any suggestions?

I don't think you could. The smallest amount of pints you could reduce them by is 1, which is a grand saving of 5 points per 5man squad and that seems a bit much. I think maybe if the movement was further compounded by halfing advance rolls you'd be onto something.

 

However, I would just stick with the core rules and points. Like Gimli says "We dwarves are natural sprinters!"
