So I was looking forward to buying two of our glorious transports this Christmas as a present but I have just realised that for a similar price I could buy the fabled Titanicus Titan Group Box. I know I have sinned the Omnissiah by letting my thoughts wonder but I do believe that as they are both creations of the most glorious Omnissiah that I can be vindicated.

Which would you choose?

Three Goliath Trucks to count-as?

(If you can find a good discount, I think the Skorps look awesome. And I imagine you might get more use out of them too. But then AT does seem a slow-burn for popularity...)

Alternatively: l33t T3ch 9uard 4 teh w1nz!!!l!ll!

Close your eyes. Imagine you have both. Which one are you cracking open and building first. And which one are you painting? Therein lies your answer. I've regretted making purchases outside my army so many times when they sit on my shelf untouched a year later.

Or, my favorite:

Flip a coin. Once you see the result, are you satisfied, or do you want to go for two out of three?

I suggest all of them. Intone the claxon of fervent fabrication and praise the Omnissiah when all of the above are delivered.

I would be satisfied if I threw it in the warp and the coin told me to buy both. Maybe I can grab both if I only grab a single tank and tell my daughters that its their present too...?

Don't do that. Get your kids what they actually want man. You can wait a few for your next toy, kids need it more.

Oh dear, you know when you wake up to the post... Mechanised delivery servitor and accept a drop pod of purchased hobby materials only to realise you have fallen to heresy!

Well I decided to get the Titanicus Knight box instead but the biggest heresy is that instead of getting our new tank like a loyal Scion of the Omnissiah I may have gone and gotten the Mansions of Madness board game.

I AM SO SORRY! But I can be redeemed as its my Birthday in a month and I will definitely be getting a "floating hovercraft of submarine donut spinning death!"

In all seriousness I cannot keep up with all these releases, I wanted to get the Titan Pack and an above ground submersible but in the last month alone a Titanicus Knight box, CA2019, the Christmas AM model, Killteam Annual, Blackstone Annual were added to my list :( I just had to say no more GW and buy from someone else.

I can't judge, Black_Knight - we've got the Silver Twilight Lodge expansion on the chair opposite us...

I also picked up some Rusted Coggos going spare from a friend of a friend, aka now my Genestolen Tech-Cultists.

I'm quite looking forward to building and messing about with them - it might well pull me toward acquiring & putting together several more Goliaths & Achilles vehicles to proxy as Skorpius stand-ins.

So yeah my wife surprised me with this when she came back home yesterday!

So does that her a servant of the Omnissiah?
