nusphigor
Hello guys Last saturday i traded some aos fantasy minis and got the admech half of a forgebane box, so i now have a dominus, 10 vanguards and 2 armigers. I was kinda looking at their rules in 1d4chan and i like the Metallica forge world and the house raven rules for my minis. However, i wanted to ask you guys; how would you use them as they seem to be from different books? Is there a way to field these minis alongside an inquisitorial retinue with Eisenhorn at the head? Cheers! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360480-how-would-you-use-the-admech-minis-from-the-forgebane-box/ Share on other sites
Focslain
Forgebane for the admech side has a legal Patrol and super heavy aux detachment. The patrol will give they Metalica triat, but you need a super heavy detachment with a questoris/dominus class knight to get the house traits. You can still run the warglaives in a SHA and get access to the house strats, but that is it. nusphigor 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360480-how-would-you-use-the-admech-minis-from-the-forgebane-box/#findComment-5444411 Share on other sites

MagicHat
SHA: Super Heavy auxilia detachment. It lets you bring a single Lord of War, and Armigers can come in squads as a single Lord of War slot (LoW). You need White Dwarf november 2019 for Inquisition rules, but basically, it lets you build an Inquisition detachment, or you can bring a single Inquisitor in another detachment. Codex: Adeptus Mechanicus do have the rules for questoris class Knights, but Armiger and Dominus class rules are located in the Knight codex, which contains all the Household, relics and stratagems for them anyway. As Focslain said, you have a patrol of AdMech and a Super-heavy auxilia with the forgebane box. A single bigger knight will give you a super heavy detachment, with more command points and unlock household rules, and the Adeptus Mechanicus starter box will let you make an AdMech Battalion, with 2 HQ, 3 Skitarii troops (2 of them in 5 man squads) and an onager (Which I would magnetize).
