Aothaine
Seriously... what the hell is the weapon in the right hand? It looks like a Combi-melta with chainsword attached. Marshal Loss
The gun? That is a combi-melta. Aothaine and ChazSexington 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360523-what-is-this-weapon/#findComment-5445432 Share on other sites
Gederas
Combi-melta. If you see it from the right side, the bolter barrel is visible. The Chaos Lord in Terminator Armour model is from when the Chaos Terminators had ECKSBAWKSHUEG bayonets on their combi-bolters. Aothaine
So the chainsword has no in-game effect then right? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360523-what-is-this-weapon/#findComment-5445439 Share on other sites
Gederas
So the chainsword has no in-game effect then right? Sadly, it doesn't. Brother Tyler
It's not a chainsword. It's just a chain-close combat attachment/combat blade (that doesn't have any in-game effects). Shades of the 1st edition chain version of the combat blade (that were much more angular). http://www.solegends.com/citrt2/rtb01sm/rtb01boxrpartsxx-01.jpg (top, second from left) http://www.solegends.com/citrt2/c100sms/wd099p49rt101smsx-01.jpg ("Brother West", top, second from left) Prot, Excessus, Aothaine and 1 other 4 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360523-what-is-this-weapon/#findComment-5445464 Share on other sites
Excessus
Back in 2nd ed, the blades actually had rules giving the termies an additional attack. Sadly, nowadays they're just a relic of the past. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360523-what-is-this-weapon/#findComment-5445517 Share on other sites
kogeninja
Sadly, nowadays they're just a relic of the past. Aaaah, just like the Emperor Mallios, Marshal Loss, Drudge Dreadnought and 2 others 5 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360523-what-is-this-weapon/#findComment-5445594 Share on other sites
Zeke
Can we also appreciate that whenever he fires the melta part of the combi-melta, he sheers off the front end of the chain bayonet?
