Imren
Looks very cool! Love the conversion! However, a regular human would most likely not be able to lift a cased artillery round of that relative size the way the DKOK dude is holding it. Those IRL would be like 70-100 kg which is not easy to handle that way (unless you're a Catachan that spends his time either on the battlefield or in the gym). TorvaldTheMild
The DKK models have artillery shells that big and are holding them, I just wasn't going to waste the shells you get in the static artillery kits. Also there is no automatic loader on a Basilisk so they have to be manually loaded. Edited December 12, 2019 by TorvaldTheMild
Son of Sacrifice
It looks cool, but I agree, the pose doesn't indicate that the shell has any weight to it. All in all it looks good though, I don't think it would stand out once painted. TorvaldTheMild 1 Back to top
TorvaldTheMild
You'll have to blame FW for that, that's what they look like holding shells, I just made my own shells for the Basilisk because the static kit costs a lot and I'm not gonna use the shells for it on a basilisk. Its hard to make a model look like its carrying weight I think so there's nothing really I can do about that. PeteySödes
I think it's perfectly fine. Doing a custom sculpt or something for flavor on that isn't really that reasonable. Once painted and done, i dont think anyones going to bat an eye. Good start! TorvaldTheMild 1 Back to top
Quixus
It looks great so far but to really make it DKoK it needs more shovels ;) TorvaldTheMild 1 Back to top

TorvaldTheMild
Cheers, I'm not happy with the way the propellant turned out though, bit wide at one end of it, looks good from a distance though.
Imren
good paint job! Now I suggest you move on with some weathering, OPR (oil paint rendering, check it out on youtube) and do some scratches, chipping with some neat rust effects and also dust or mud on the treads.
