Guest
It seems the ability to ignore mods has been changed. Is it possible to get this reversed? The inability to ignore Admin is different. Panzer
Pretty sure they've deleted your first thread for a reason. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360651-ignore-list/#findComment-5448320 Share on other sites
Dosjetka
No, this will not be changed back to what it was. Besides, Moderators and Admins are all staff. There's no reason to have the ability to ignore either category. Dosjetka
We all have to deal with bad apples, Arkley, online and offline. Deal with them the same way one would offline (i.e. just ignore/skip past their posts). Dosjetka
Addendum to the previous post: I am not suggesting that you can ignore Mod posts that are official in-thread instructions/nudges/warnings or similar posts. It's pretty clear which ones those are (usually in coloured text, preceeded and ended with a "=][=") and ignoring those is not an option. Claiming that a Moderator told you you can ignore Mod posts later on down the line won't fly. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360651-ignore-list/#findComment-5448378 Share on other sites
WarriorFish
This was an omission corrected, as Dos has outlined there are certain requirements that preclude this. This is also why members of the mod team are also forbidden from adding anyone to their ignore list - they must see all content in order to fulfil their role for the community. It is also why you are not allowed to add mods to your ignore list, as you must be able to see requests from them in order to comply as stipulated by the rules.
