I, Llagos_Tyrant, for the month of July vow to complete 2 Iron Warriors Chaos Space Marines, 2 Iron Warriors Havocs, 1 Chaos Cultist, 1 Night Lords test model, 1 Blood Angels test model, and the completion of my Plodding Along vow, the Defiler, for the glory of Chaos and the Iron Warriors legion by the end of August.

So with me having to switch my crusade army from knights to Tau I got a few ideas to spruce up the preceptor that will take time to do. So I'd like to move it from an August vow to a prodding along vow.

 

Also added the WIP of the Tau commander.

Not going to revow just yet till I clear a little space on my desk to actually get some space for a decent photo but it will be for five more Chaos Marines.

Alright, ease back into it, start small, start small...well these should be ideal!

 

I, Aeternus, for the month of August vow to complete 6 bases of scarabs for (ironically) the glory of Chaos and their Dynasty by the end of August.

I'm going to be vowing in little blocks this month, as I'm moving house so the second half is going to be pretty chaotic - without further ado, my first August vow is the Indomitus Primaris Chaplain and Judiciar.

I, Etheneus, for the month of August vow to complete of 1 Tank commander with magnetized options for the glory of the Empire by the end of August

 

 

I bought this along others a while ago and have just started disassembling it to magnetize and paint it. Won't have much time this month so hope I will make it.

Got one swarm done now to test run the colours, might do a bit more on the eyes to make them contrast to the orbs, but otherwise happy enough. Decided not to try and airbrush the orbs since it'd overrun onto the carapace a bit much, so I'll reserve airbrush greens for larger things on the rest of the box models.

I painted some more gold and black. Vow complete!

 

 

With my Custodians now ready for crusading, I can continue founding my own chapter. I already have a basic Intercessor all painted up, now to figure out how a heavy weapons specialist looks like. I, TPS, vow to paint a Space Marine Suppressor, for the cause of the Xenos, by end of August.

 

 

In addition, I, TPS vow to build and paint a whole lot of terrain as my new Plodding Along vow for 2020: that Admech kit from the double Knights box, two fortifications, one or two pieces of ruins, 8 barriers, a flak battery, two sprues of terrain from the Kill Team Rogue Trader box and a yet to be determined amount of tank traps made from leftover resin.

And no, I don't think the pilot became a spawn - rather, I figure he was absorbed much in the way the pilot gets absorbed when his fighter mutates into a helldrake.

Reporting my 2 remaining Assault Intercessors done for the moment. I even threw in some extra decals.

However painting those reminded me that I forgot to paint the initial 3 guys helmets in a proper Codex-approved fashion ( )
So for my next vow I will repaint those 3 heads with some additional highlights to their bases as well. And the proper content will be 3 Eradicators.

So I had a really good session over the weekend and with a few finishing touches this evening I can declare my August vow complete:

Lastly for my plodding along vow, I finished the conversion on the Inquisitor. For some reason I cannot find my Clawed Fiend so this monster will do instead. Any suggestions for a paint scheme for the big boy?
