Short update, I finished the inquisitor from the Plodding Along vow, only the big monster to go, and I think he is nearly finished.

I also finished the Epic Warlock Titan for the Good, the Bad and the Aeldari.

That would conclude my vow for that event, but I am going to try for one more model, a Terracotta themed Karandras.

So, I will bid for November, for the forces of Chaos, my land raider proteus.

I've also vowed a death jester and corsairs vyper for the aeldari event.

Drahzar and the incubi are done. The jester is close and the vyper has been started on too.

I, Etheneus, vow to complete 2 heavy weapon squads of mortars for the Astra Militarum and the Emperor!

They have been tweaked a bit. Changed the exact same pose all four had, even put bionic legs on the one in the front middle.

Oh and that tyranid behind them. It will feature, but not in a good way for the crew.

Well, unfortunately I failed. Real life (haven't been home a single weekend this month) but mostly lack of motivation saw to that.

One squad is done. The other lacks highlights and details. The nid is also unpainted.

My barrel vow is complete. Those went super-fast with just drybrushing and occasional wash to imitate spill. Really enjoyable for some reason..

For the month of November, I need to adress my Iron Warriors' complaint about a severe lack of templates in their army. So, I, TPS, vow to paint 3 Vindicators and an Arquitur Bombard, by the end of November, for the glory of the Xenos.

TPS, the scorpion turned out great, any plan on fielding it?

This month has been interesting, I finished a bunch of different things and painted a variety of units, was really refreshing after having focused on Sisters for so long, unfortunately the sisters are not done so I will need to get back to them soon.

So completion this month:

For the Iron Gauntlet I finished one converted custom character / count as Living Saint (for normal games)

For the Good, the Bad and the Aeldari I finished 1 Epic Warlock Titan, 2 Epic Knights, 1 Dark Reaper Exarch and one Karandras (picture below).

Lastly I also finished my Plodding along vow of one inquisitor and one beast thing, picture below.

OCTOBER SUMMARY

In another solid month, October had 21 Participants take up the Challenge once again. Together we pledged 205 models, and managed to complete 168 of those models between us. For the first time this year, we have no one failing the Challenge, every Frater who pledged for October completed at least one model, well done to all of us. We have however, for the first time this year in the Challenge dropped below 200 models for the month. To put that into context, last year the Monthly average was less than 50 models, so even at 168 it is a fantastic effort for us all to be proud of.

I almost hit the pic limit this month for the Badges, I may need a double post for November.....

@Trokair - Yes the skin is mostly Gryph-charger Grey Contrast over Space Wolves Grey (Hex pot) with a highlight of Blue Horror.  It turned out more blue than I had anticipated but I'm very pleased with the result nonetheless.

A new month, and I have acquired that rarest of treasures, brothers: A week's holiday from work.

I am going to use this time wisely*.
