DranuTemplar
I'm looking for Maltese/Templar cross stencils small enough for shoulder pads. Fallout hobby makes some nice vehicle ones, but the smallest one on it is slightly too large for shoulder pads. Anyone know of others? JAG Templar
When I read the title I was going to suggest Fallout as well. But I’ve never seen any stencils for shoulder pads. Are decals not an option? DranuTemplar 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360771-cross-stencils/#findComment-5451572 Share on other sites
Sword Brother Adelard
That would be my query, what's wrong with transfers? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360771-cross-stencils/#findComment-5451576 Share on other sites
DranuTemplar
That would be my query, what's wrong with transfers? A fair question. Basically the colors, I want to alternate and fade two colors with an airbrush. I suppose if custom coloring is available for decals, then that too, but I haven't seen that. Sword Brother Adelard
Could you not try to paint the decals? Then slice them neatly Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360771-cross-stencils/#findComment-5451904 Share on other sites
asmodai
Tamiya makes these great yellow tape sheets for scale military models that you can trace the transfers onto and cut out. You can reuse it as a stencil and happily airbrush multiple models before the adhesive becomes ineffective. You can find these on Amazon, or on several scale model websites, or models stores that carry tank/plane models.
