Medjugorje
Hi, I have a simple question. What are (after PA) the common (no Craftworld ally) Dark Eldar lists. What are new combos and conceptions. What list did win since PA release? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360856-tournamet-builds/ Share on other sites
ThePenitentOne
PA didn't give us much; Drazhar is tougher, as are Incubi- the whole unit now gets extra damage rather than just the Klaivex. So I imagine you'll see more Incubi than before, an Drazhar might be more common... But then again, these models are only available as part of an expensive box set for now, so maybe not. The only other thing we got was the capacity to create our own Kabals, Cults and Covens by picking traits from a list- either you pick one major trait or two minor ones. The traits for Kabals are weak because they tend to focus on hth, which is just not how Kabals fight. There are some decent options for both wych cults and covens, but none of them are game changers. Medjugorje
are there any things which already played with success so far.? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/360856-tournamet-builds/#findComment-5453999 Share on other sites
GrinNfool
Ravagers, razorwings, venoms, and to some slightly lesser extent talos, and void ravens. There are quite a few reasonable options too such as scourges, reavers, and I THINK a small group of incubi are reasonable now with their points reduction and drahzar being even better with them now. Medjugorje
I had success with my mandrakes a few months ago. But I dont like Ravagers, I think they are not worth it since 3/4 years - after Orks get into the meta. But ETC is very different to ITC meta. GrinNfool
You are free to use whatever you want, my response had nothing to do with what you like lol. I support using whatever you want and having fun, you asked a question about whats good though, and thats the answer, not interested in debating your opinions on the models i listed or ITC/ETC though. I might recommend looking up the dark city forums for DE questions, B&C isn't very active where dark eldar are concerned, and you can probably find more people to give you advice. Although it will likely be very similar to what I posted. Good luck! Medjugorje
no no... your answer was good but I want to know the whole concept. I mean which Cabal would be played with each unit. Which Coven ... Is there anything good new stuff from "Rise of the Phoenix" for tournament lists? sultansean
Witch Cult Flyers using Test of Skill are pretty good, with +1 to wound against big things. Better than black heart? Maybe? Kabal got nothing useful Coven got some good options for thing other than Grotesques. Dark Technomancers and expermintal creations are great on venoms, ravagers, hex rifles, and sometimes Talos. Although I think one of these might have got FAQ'd to only work in combat. Edit- Yeah I checked and experimental creations got nerfed to only work in combat. So you normally still want to run prophets of flesh, but if you have a second detachment with wracks and venoms, then Dark Technomancers is still good.
