Brother Clavero Posted January 6, 2020 Share Posted January 6, 2020 I would like to build a Knights of Blood kill team set around the time of nid invasion of Baal. This will limit me to "First Born" , close combat oriented marines. I've thought about using the Berserker rules (not good without cultists), or something similar. Does anyone have any ideas on how to create a viable combat Marine list or is this just not doable? Panzer Posted January 6, 2020 Share Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) I have no clue what's considered a viable Kill Team list since I usually just do teams that look cool or are themed and such, however if you want a hyper focussed melee team, which you definitely should as Knights of Blood, then your only option really is to take as many Vanguard Veterans as possible I guess. Something like this: Leader Vanguard Veteran Sergeant, Jump Pack, Relic blade, Storm shield Specialists Vanguard Veteran, Jump Pack, Power Axe, Storm Shield, Combat Vanguard Veteran, Jump Pack, Power Sword, Storm Shield, Veteran Vanguard Veteran, Jump Pack, 2x Chainsword, Zealot =98p Or if you want to trade in the mobility for more bodies you could add another two Vanguard Veterans with 2x Chainsword so you end up with 6 footslogging bodies at exactly 100p. I would have suggested dropping a vanguard to have extra cc scouts (or sergeant). I would only suggest this if you are playing for fun.
