The turret will happily sit in place without needing glue and I left the guns unglued, though I bought two and used the spare weapon from the transport version so I didn't have the magnetize the end of the gun. It's been a while since I assembled it so I'm not 100% on where/if you would have to magnetize it.

I'm currently throwing money at my AdMech army. When I've finished adding to it and everything is painted I'll share some pics.

 

I'm adding the following:

 

10 Infiltrators

10 Rangers

6 Kataphron Destroyers

2 Scorpius Disintegrators

I look forward to seeing the Disintegrators in particular as not many people seem to have shown their models. Good luck painting that reinforcement wave! :)

I loved them the moment I saw them, and the rules are great - especially if you keep the army Shrouded to give them a better save.

 

I'm very excited to get back to my AdMech. I used to run them alongside a Castellan and some Armigers, but now I'm focusing on building the full army as pure AdMech.

What are you planning on with the Kataphrons? I keep flipping around on how to build the three I have, so they get pushed back down the list.

I'll be running 6 with Plasma.

 

The reason being is the Strat. If you have a unit of Kastellans and Kataphrons you can play a Strat that gives both +1 to hit. It means the Plasmas can't over-heat unless shooting at something with a modifier.

 

What are you planning on with the Kataphrons? I keep flipping around on how to build the three I have, so they get pushed back down the list.

I'll be running 6 with Plasma.

In the servitor maniple detachment you can also give +1 to hit for 1CP and no other restrictions

And then keep Daedalosus near for a further +1 to hit on a target within 24". +3 to hit on kataphrons may be overkill but it makes for great AA!
