dice4thedicegod
As I don’t play at a GW, I don’t even restrict myself to GW plastics. As long as it is the right size, the right look/aesthetic , and wysiwyg, I’m happy. BLACK BLŒ FLY
Agreed and that’s completely reasonable plus awesome conversion opportunities rock. Fajita Fan
Given how bad the fit and finish is on the Fellblade model I think it's probably easier and more straightforward to convert it from a plastic Baneblade Seriously, I almost bought one from a guy when I first decided to make a 30k army as I love how it looked...then I saw the gaps... BLACK BLŒ FLY
The Fellblade has a very distinct turret. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/361149-counts-as-forge-world-models/page/2/#findComment-5464160 Share on other sites
Vykes
Huh, and here I am thinking of converting a Heresy baneblade from a Fellblade. It's got a very distinct turret Noserenda 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/361149-counts-as-forge-world-models/page/2/#findComment-5464168 Share on other sites

Fajita Fan
Sure, this is where 3D printing a round frame to act as a jig for plastic panels comes in. The body of a Fellblade can be very tough to assemble with big gaps and seams around the track guard, drive wheels, and front end which is sad considering the cost of the kit. I had a link saved somewhere (might have even been this forum) where a guy found a dome shaped piece of plastic at a hardware store that is perfectly sized for a Fellblade turret but I may have deleted it before getting one. Doesn’t really matter as I can build a 3D printed dome easily enough to start from. There should be a contest for the best plastic FW conversion! There’s some really talented people here.
