Farfromsam has fallen in the sense that I am now painting true scale marines... and quite a few of them... honestly I'm embarrassed, but the basic marine variant of the primaris models are pretty nice and should be updated marine models... any way... I was gifted quite a few over Christmas I decided to go whole hog updating my 5th company. And as fate would have it, my brother has thrown down the gauntlet and challenged me to a new army new GT. Last year saw us visit the LVO, him with a newly painted Dark eldar army, and my self a deathguard one. Any way... again... A quick preview. FarFromSam Posted March 9, 2020 Author Share Posted March 9, 2020 Base coat desert tan. Then, hit them from a top 45° of bone. Then zenith highlight a 1:1 of bone and white in a very light coat. Then I wash it in sepia and pulled as much towards the corners with out pooling or tide marking. Finally, edge highlight with bone, and maybe a few spots of white at the top. I can get the specific colors/ paints I used if ya like. Thanks for the kind words yall. Trying to live up to your examples.
