Murdicus
If I was to use centurions what would they best represent in a chaos army? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/361277-centurions-in-chaos/ Share on other sites
infyrana
Maybe obliterators? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/361277-centurions-in-chaos/#findComment-5462863 Share on other sites
Zephaniah Adriyen
Definitely Obliterators. Not mine, for the record. These were done by Prometian Painting. They are, however, very relevant here. Edited January 16, 2020 by Zephaniah Adriyen Iron Father Ferrum, infyrana and Sgt. WarriorFish
Indeed, such that I don't think there are any other suggestions never mind one that can come close :P They'd be great in a more recently turned chapter especially :) Zephaniah Adriyen 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/361277-centurions-in-chaos/#findComment-5462905 Share on other sites
MegaVolt87
Cents had origins in scouring era didn't they? I think they were also the first new unit type developed since the re-organization to chapters. Would trade obits for cents in a heartbeat- or 3.5 era stylt oblits rules back. infyrana
Curious - what about using them as Castellax - possibly more inclined to including them in Legion 30k lists, but still - an option maybe ? Don't actually know the size comparison. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/361277-centurions-in-chaos/#findComment-5462933 Share on other sites
Zephaniah Adriyen
I'll mention that the Centurion kit lends itself to being an Obliterator conversion, based on the options on the sprues. You get a TON of different weapons - you can just piecemeal it so it looks weird and random, strap some spikes to it, maybe do a headswap, done.
