ThePenitentOne
There's enough out now to plan this thing. To start, I'm feeling 2 Arcos, 2 PE boxes and the Triumph. These are odd choices, but they're story related. In the Chronicle, the Desdaemona system emerges from the warp into the Sector Pacificus just in time that the Crusade for Balckstone Fortress has the opportunity to stop over before venturing deeper into the galactic western fringe. This will provide an opportunity for Taddeus, Pious and Gotfret to participate in a few games/ events in the early campaign before they move on. They will leave a detachment behind- hence my PE's and Arcos. As for the Triuph, I'll have to build a custom base for the Triumph which will allow me to field any of the Cannoness Superia as individual models instead of field the Triumph as a whole. The entire story line of the Saint Katherine's Aegis campaign began twelve years ago in an Apocalypse game where Cannoness Jahalla Athebraxis found that shield hidden beneath the Altar in the Chapel of Saint Katherine's Aegis. It is literally the culmination of a decade of gaming to be able to field that model. In this version of the campaign, it will be Jahalla's emergence from the warp which allows for the completion of the Triumph. So the arrival of the Crusade will be Jahalla's first contact with the Imperium upon emergence from the warp. That contact will be relayed back to the Convent Prioris to inform them that Jahalla is in possession of the Praesidium Protectiva brought to battle five millenia earlier by Saint Katherine herself, well they send the other components of the Triumph to Orison's Wake to re-sanctify the Cathedral of Saint Katherine's Aegis and redesignate the planet as an Imperial Shrineworld. Anyway, in CAD, that's $390, though I can get a deal at FLGS. Hefty price tag- probably have to break it into 2 purchases, so PE's and Arcos first.
