My IW revamp

Been waiting now for the edition for them to do an official list update to  30k to bring it to 40k but alas. So I am going to revamp for chaos I suppose for my loyalists from Paramar, the loyal 77th. So far I have some ideas on what I want my list to look like and while it may not be the most competitive, no Levi dreadnoughts or disco lords, I am hoping it will do ok in a non-competitive casual environment.

When complete or dusted off, I have most of the models already built and painted, it should look pretty cool on the field. Right now I am proxying the Vindicators and my terminators might have a different melee weapon loadout, its been since Vigilus Ablaze came out that I looked at them. I used to run 3 squads of cataphractii terminators and 2  5 man squads of tyrants which I last used as Oblits before the new models came out.

 

I have plenty of alternatives I can use. I could technically flood the board with power armor and terminators if I wanted. But for this list I can swap the Collossus for something else either another basilisk or I would prefer another artillery type weapon. I have an aversion to the silly dinobots so I don't own any of those except the spider thing which I haven't even put together yet. What I might work towards as I tune things up is to replace the renegade artillery battery with 3 predators somehow allowing for both Killshot and whatever the triple vindicator strat is called. I could also drop the Deredeo and add another colossus or swap out the Bassies and add Medusas(I use the same model and stick or remove a small PVC pipe in the barrel to extend it for the Basilisks.

 

I love the Devastation Battery mainly in case I don't go first, I can still get shots off on my Havocs at whatever is the worst thing the opponent has visible and most people aren't aware it even exists since I am the only chaos player locally. Hoping when they redo the points for FW they drop our superheavies into a reasonable range. I have a painted Typhon and Spartan just gathering dust because there is no world where they are worth anything near what they are currently pointed at and the Typhon at a minimum needs a 300 point drop. :(
