Soo i bought some nailpolish remover acertone is it?
some Mineral spirits
and well got some washing up liquid and what not

How long should i leave it (its a primer spray that never stuck to the models came away with simple rubbing)
as i never pre-cleaned them (i was yooung and didnt know any better) haha

sorry there's probably plenty of threads about it but i aint to good at navigating forums at the best of times

Nail polish remover is often acetone, yes :)

 

Have you used this before? If no, just go back after 30 mins and give it a scrub. If it doesn't come away, give it an hour and make sure it is coated (i.e submerged) - and so on until it comes off. You're not going to harm the model if it's metal :)

Holy crap..that stuff..really does its job it spent an age in terps & didnt shift well

a hour or two in this stuff and its almost back to the shiny metal i remember from yesteryear

Acetone based nailpolish is great stuff for cleaning paint off metal, I use it as my 'really get this paint off now' option for my airbrush. Just don't use it on anything plastic, as it *will* melt!

yeeah i saw a quick how to vid and he put a plastic dwarf in it...after a minute he pulled it out and it was already going gummy and sticky
