Icosiel
Hello, battle-brothers! I've waited some time to deliver my thoughts on RotD. I didn't want to do a lot of theory-crafting of speculating; I waited waited to use the rules before writing my thoughts. This isn't a competitive breakdown. Instead, it is a write-up of what the new rules mean for my army in particular. If any of you follow me, you know that my army is entirely Terminators, so RotD was HUGE for me. Thanks for reading. https://forgedindefiance.blogspot.com/2020/02/ritual-of-damned-what-it-means-for-me.html Soder 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/361867-ritual-of-the-damned-what-it-means-for-me/ Share on other sites
zero88
Great write-up, really enjoyed the analysis as I don't like PAGK either. With the multitude of defensive buffs now available do you see using Paladin's in squads of 5 for more flexibility, or stick with the tried and true "bomb"? Icosiel
Great write-up, really enjoyed the analysis as I don't like PAGK either. With the multitude of defensive buffs now available do you see using Paladin's in squads of 5 for more flexibility, or stick with the tried and true "bomb"? I honestly see even more reason to use the Paladin Bomb than before. In matched play, all of those defensive buffs can only be used on one unit per phase, which makes having all of my Paladins in one big unit all the more important. ValourousHeart
One of your pictures has a couple models with lightning claws. I didn't think that was an option for GK. Icosiel
Paired falchions, paired claws, tomato tomahto. For counts as that is. Precisely. I read a lore bit about a Grand Master who had lightning and claws and I was like, "well, :cuss, now I have to model that." Tralador
Actually, since we mentioned it, by the lore, nemesis weapons come in every weapon form the Imperium creates, it is just that they are categorized for the ease of use. Gonna be honest, I haven't played 40k in over a month. I live in Seattle and we've been on full lockdown for a while now. Looking forward to my next game when all this blows over.
