Something I find really interesting is that it seems like every race, with the exception of maybe chaos?, thinks that the Tyranids are the most dangerous enemy in the galaxy. They have over-come almost everything they've been against.

- Every chapter of the Blood Angels was nearly wiped out stopping one arm of Leviathan

- Khorne Daemons were able to slaughter a ton of Tyranids on one of the Blood Angel's homeworld moons

- Kryptman sent the Tyranids into an Ork Waaaagh and the Tyranids won

- The Necrons have allied with space marines to fight against the Tyranids

- Nurgle fought a hive fleet and drew it to a stalemate. The plagues on the planet devoured everything alive so nothing could live on the planet.

Have the T'au have encountered a hive fleet yet?

I know the Eldar have. Is there an enemy that can significantly defeat tyranids other than Chaos?

What happens if the Tyranids wipe out all life except the life in the warp?

How does the Shadow in the Warp affect Chaos?

Chaos has been slapped by nids on multiple occasions. In fact, kronos has a special affinity for fighting warp beings. I think a blood thirster challenged a tyrant/swarmlord to a duel during battle, but instead of fighting, the nids just sent alot of carnifexes against it and killed it.

Edit: it was actually an avatar not bloodbthirster that got smacked by carnifexes

Very interesting. Going to have to look for the story "Fall of Shadowbrink" : Just read a bit about it... love this section "The Daemonic lines soon collapsed, and as the Bloodthirster Hak'Vasha was dragged back into the Warp he was still wrestling with three Trygons." That would be an awesome drawing having some Bloodthirster struggling as it is being pulled back into the warp and wrestling with three Trygons.

Also there was the Tzeentch Greater Daemon that was exploded with psychic energy by Zoanthropes. Very interesting.

Cool stuff indeed! :biggrin.:
