Oxumus Prime
Would guard with this trait, get a plus 2 to their save? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/361909-wilderness-survivors/ Share on other sites
Trickstick
I'm guessing you are asking if you can stack the wilderness survivors bonus with actual cover to get two +1s to your save. The answer would be no, as wilderness survivors doesn't technically give you a +1, it just lets you count as being in cover. So you can't be in double cover. HallofStovokor
Yes and no. You can spend 1 CP for take cover. That would get them a 3+ save. Only problem is that at least in the early turns you're going to be advancing a lot. If you're not running your Guardsmen into position you're not using your infantry squads to their fullest potential. Galron
Will work great for a fire support brigade along with the 18" rapid fire and a midfield battalion that pushes to the center while the 3rd batt goes close combat and stroming the enemy positions. Great board control to limit deep strikes as well duz_ 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/361909-wilderness-survivors/#findComment-5477124 Share on other sites
Wassa
How does this interact with getting shot turn 1 by the opponent before we’ve had our turn? sairence
You didn't advance the previous movement phase so you should get cover. It usually doesn't matter for these rules if you actually had a chance to do the thing.
